Software Engineer I (15941) Job Description
Software Engineer within the Tools and Technologies group will report to the Development Manager and will be responsible for the design and development .NET and Java EE-based content management and project tracking applications.
This offer is for a full-time, day shift position located at the offices of the Company.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Project Managers and other members of the Team to develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines.
- Define software development processes and frameworks, write detailed technical specification. Participates in test plans and user guides creation.
- Code applications from conception to production deploy.
- Verify and actively drive application quality and performance.
- Communicate task status to stakeholders and management.

Required Qualifications: - 2+ years Web programming experience using ASP.Net, C#, JavaScript/JQuery, CSS and Java EE.
- 1 year experience working with relational database systems such as Oracle, MySQL or MSSQL and a good working knowledge of PL/ SQL.
- Proven ability in writing REST and/or SOAP based services.
- Thorough knowledge of software design concepts, such as object-oriented programming, common design patterns, algorithms, and development lifecycles.
- Experience in managing, supporting and configuring websites running on Linux (Apache/Tomcat/Jboss) & IIS 6/7.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Google App Engine cloud computing platform and different APIs like Datastore, Memcache, URLFetch, Google Cloud Storage is a big plus.
- Knowledge of video game or entertainment industry is a plus.
Education Requirements: - Graduated or currently enrolled in BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a 4 year college or university or equivalent
