Business Developper Upstream Oil & Gas Job Description

• Develop the Upstream Oil & Gas business line and continuously develop profitable market share world wide.
• Contribute to achieving Upstream sales targets and objectives by embracing and implementing the BELSIM Strategy
• Implement the Upstream business plan .
• Grow the BELSIM Upstream business line worldwide both revenues and profit.
• Study the Upstream Oil & Gas Market worldwide understanding all big projects and ensuring follow up actions.
• Know the main players (customers) and the key people (decision makers) in the Upstream Oil & Gas business world wide.
• Foster the development of relationships with clients to enhance the profitability of the company.
• Lead and manage all client commercial arrangements to ensure best value and long term viability.
• Deliver presentations to clients as needed. Participate in relevant industry forums and other marketing events.
• Develop and implement solution price positioning objectives of BELSIM Upstream division.
• Learn and understand client’s needs and tailor engineering services and software products offering to meet or exceed their requirements
• Evaluate sales opportunities, educate the market and generate effective proposals.
• Develop and execute sales campaigns. Support contract negotiations and closing deals where possible.
• Develop and communicate clear marketing messages related to BELSIM products and services.
• Provide top quality technical, sales and commercial actions to achieve the sales.
• Manage the tender development and response process. Ensure all resources are available for highest quality tender submissions
• Develops and implements business retention and future expansion plans for the various product lines in the EMEA, Brazil and North America
• Ensure Belsim Products and Services promotion and lead educational seminars.
• Develops and implements programs for business enhancement, business retention and business expansion.
• Be the key person for the Global solution Strategy for BELSIM Upstream Oil & Gas Business line. 

Business Developper Upstream Oil & Gas Job Requirements

• University Master in Chemical Engineering,  MBA is a plus.
• At least 5 to 10 years  experience in sales, marketing and BD in the Upstream Oil and Gas software & associated engineering services industry.
• Knowledge of Upstream Oil & Gas production facilities.
• Knowledge of flow metering is a plus.
• Good command of English, both in written and spoken is a must.
• Advanced computer and presentation skills.
• Have a demonstrated track record of developing and implementing a successful marketing and sales strategy.
• A clear vision and ability to achieve results from action plans derived from a solid strategic platform.
• Commercially astute with a track record of securing new and repeat business covering both goods and services with long sales cycles

• Experience of preparing and delivering client presentations
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and ability to meet critical deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
