Electronics Design Engineer Job Description

As an Electronics Design Engineer in Fugro Engineers B.V., you are responsible for the development of equipment that is used to perform geotechnical soil investigations. Your main focus in the job is developing electronics for our sensors (pressure, force and temperature sensors), actuators (valves, motors), power supplies and communication interfaces. The equipment is mainly used offshore and requires a high level of robustness.
 
Your activities will be:

• Development of electronic circuits for sensors, actuators and communication interfaces (such as fibre optic, Ethernet or CAN);
• Developing power supplies;
• Cooperate with PCB designers;
• Cooperate on embedded software development;
• Prototyping;
• Leading the technical design.

Electronics Design Engineer Job Requirements

Requirements
For this position you will have a BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering;
A medical examination for offshore work can be part of the selection procedure for this job.
