System Engineer HMI Job Description

As System Development Engineer your main focus will be on European R&D activities in the cockpit electronics domain with a special focus on HMI (Human Machine Interface) technologies. In detail you will:

define, specify and track hardware, software and mechanical development activities with internal departments and external suppliers,
prepare demonstration vehicles or benches for validation and customer presentation,
become the main contact person for internal departments, external partners and customers for all technical matters,
collect and analyse information about future trends in automotive cockpit electronics/ HMI.

System Engineer HMI Job Requirements

You will typically have a passion for technical products and are likely to have an engineering university degree, or a comparable education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a similar discipline with relevant experience.
A minimum of three years of professional experience in the hardware and software development, preferably in automotive cockpit electronics or the ADAS domain, will help you to successfully fulfil your role.In addition you will possess a profound background in Human Machine Interaction and a grasp of general technology trends. Knowledge in ergonomics and design aspects of cockpit electronics is desired.
You will be comfortable working both independently or in multicultural teams using an open way of communication and good problem solving skills.Strong organizational capability, good presentation skills and a hands-on attitude will round up your profile.
