Team/division description

Customer Quality Division gathers, visualises and prioritises all field quality problems on Toyota and Lexus vehicles reported by our European importers so that each problem can be resolved within the shortest possible timeframe.

Within the Regional Quality Department, the Repair Support team supports the importers whenever they face difficulties with diagnosing or repairing a customer’s vehicle.

Your project

Toyota Motor Europe is working on a long-term project to enhance the current diagnostic concept that is being applied to all Toyota / Lexus products. In this way we can assist the future development of the most effective OBD (On Board Diagnosis) and Off Board Diagnostic systems.

The outcome is to deliver more accurate and efficient repair, which results in higher customer satisfaction and reduced warranty cost.

  To support this we expect from you to:

• Visualise the root causes why Toyota / Lexus technicians have difficulties in diagnosing and repairing our vehicles
• In order to complete this task you need to analyse and grasp all elements that are contributing to the problem. You will do this via data mining.
• Then measure the impact of these problems on our business
• Finally present the outcome of your analysis in an easy to grasp reporting

Diagnosis Analyst Customer Quality Division Job Requirements

Your profile
 

• Preferably you have already graduated as Bachelor or Master in Automotive Engineering (mechanical, electronical ….etc)
• With some experience in the field of vehicle diagnosis
• Strong analytical and enjoying data mining activities
• Good command of oral and written English
• Team player with good communication skills
• Able to present data in a clear and logical way
• Having a good knowledge of statistics and using MS Excel are additional assets.
