Quality Engineer (m/f) (Division Issuing) Job Description

Your tasks

• Planning, design, specification and development of test plans and development of test cases for our web and backend applications
• Automation of test cases covering front end and backend applications
• Working together with the Scrum team to add value to user stories
• Develop and work together with the entire Scrum team on User Stories during Sprint Planning and User Story Workshops
• Documentation and presentation of test results including release recommendations at the Sprint Demo
• Active participation in defect tracking and root cause analysis

Quality Engineer (m/f) (Division Issuing) Job Requirements

Your profile

• Experience as quality engineer / software tester with very good knowledge in the area of quality assurance
• Experience in testing of Java web and backend applications
• Familiarity with test automation tools
• Experience with test tools such as Junit, SoapUI, Jmeter, Selenium etc.
• Experience with Linux environments
• SQL experience
• API experience such as REST, Web Services etc.
• Quick understanding of complex processes and analytical skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and you enjoy day-to-day communication in a multilingual environment
• Enthusiasm for software and the payment industry
• Fresh ideas and the ability to think outside the box in helping us to develop innovative software solutions corresponding to our motto of Making Payment Happen
• Ideally, you already have experience of agile software processes and technologies (Scrum)
