Sales and Application Engineer (m / w) Job Description

As a Sales and Application Engineer you are the first point of contact for new inquiries to our nanopositioning and sensing systems. You recognize the needs of prospective customers, technically advise and work with the customer solution proposals to contract completion. Especially the search and the establishing of new OEM customers is a main focus of this position is. You will work closely with development and product management. In this position you will provide access to new markets, putting ideas into new products in order and drive these with commitment and perseverance ahead. 
 
Main tasks / activities

• European sales of our high-precision sensors and nanopositioning
• Technical advice to our customers
• Quoting, tracking to contract
• Looking for new customers and markets
• Interface between product management and development in the implementation of ideas for new products
• Support of marketing activities at trade shows and customer presentations
• Equipment demonstrations / product demonstrations and test measurements with a focus on sensor
• If necessary, support the Customer Service for support needs of our customers

Sales and Application Engineer (m / w) Job Requirements

Qualifications / Profile

• Completed engineering / physics studies; comparable degree or 2-4 years experience in a similar position
• Open for travel activities, international
• Strong negotiation skills, result oriented and enthusiastic
• Able to prioritize tasks and to work on different tasks in parallel
• Excellent communication skills both in German and in English, spoken and written
• Good MS Office skills
