We have in our projects department a vacancy for a candidate who can design and engineer large-scale projects, mainly datacenters. Senior System Engineer Data Centre
This role will be based in our headquarters in Hoofddorp.
Mission, tasks and responsibilities
As Senior System Engineer you have a leading position within the project team. You will be responsible for the design and development of complex technical installations. You ensure that the project engineers know what their individual roles and responsibilities are within the project. You will be involved in the realization of projects and will have frequent meetings and contact with customers. With your knowledge, experience and management skills you are able to overview the big picture and whilst preparing projects in detail.
- You are responsible for the design and engineering for predominantly data centre projects
- Thorough knowledge and experience you know all the ins- and outs of the designing process;
- You are able to use your knowledge about designing and engineering to lead the team in a participative manner
- You monitor the quality of engineering according the vision of Schneider Electric;
- You manage to keep a clear overview of the various aspects of complex projects.

Senior System Engineer Data Centre Job Requirements
Minimum qualifications (required):
- HTS-degree in electrical engineering or similar education;
- You have at least 5 years experience as a System Engineer or comparable in a similar working area;
- You have experience with complex data centre projects and knowledge of ‘electro’ technical engineering and design at the highest-level;
- You are a Senior Leading System Engineer with a persuasive and inspiring way of leading;
- You deliver input to Tender Team (basic engineering and calculations);
- You are fully focused on deadlines and are stress resistant;
- You have good communication skills in Dutch and English.
Preferred qualifications: - Experience in the preparation of Mechanical and Electrical installations;
- When necessary you will give technical advise to involved parties;
- You are a real team player.
