Upgrade and Configuration Architect Job Description

Responsibilities of the Upgrade and Configuration Architect:

• Make the link between system functions and configuration requirements;
• Responsible for the planning, preparing and coordinating upgrades of the proto machines. Besides the proto systems, the Upgrade Management Group is also responsible for planning, preparing, coordinating and releasing commercial upgrade packages;
• Define the configuration and upgrade strategy to support the functional integration plan;
• Define the contents of the upgrade packages;
• Determine prerequisites for an upgrade and the dependencies between upgrades;
• Be the owner of the configuration baselines;
• Contribute to improvements on procedures and processes.

Upgrade and Configuration Architect Job Requirements

Profile from the Upgrade and Configuration Architect:

• Technical Bachelor or Master degree in Mechatronics, Electronics or Applied Physics;
• Experience with System integration, Machine building and Configuration management;
• Analytic thinking ;
• Enthusiastic, flexible and assertive;
• Good communication skills;
• Able to defend own opinion;
• Proactive attitude;
• Searching own challenges.
