Within the Research Team of Marel Stork Poultry Processing we have a wide variety of disciplines and specialists with degrees in physics, poultry science, biology, food technology and meat science.
In this challenging position you will be responsible for defining and harmonizing key end to end business processes worldwide.
You align this with business process owners and make sure that all is in compliance with corporate and local requirements.You will guide the implementation of these processes into different systems. Besides that, you will be identifying and implementing improvement opportunities to continuously increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our business processes. Off course, all in line with Marel's strategic goals.
You will be leading transformational processes to enable Marel's growing globalization and ensure technical capabilities to accelerate our strategy. And you ensure that policy, process and procedure documentation is relevant and up to date and easily accessible.You work collaboratively across all departments of the company and you partner with business leaders, IT, process owners and other stakeholders to identify information and process requirements.
You continuously work on improving the internal control environment by cooperating with the local (finance) teams and business. Last, but not least, you evaluate the risks within the processes and assists in putting in place the segregation of duties matrices and other internal controls throughout the organization.The Global Process Manager reports directly to our CFO.
To be successful in this job, you need to possess a finished Master's Degree in Finance or Business Economics with 8+ years working experience, of which at least 5 years relevant experience in a similar position in the manufacturing industry or in the Big 4.
Broad experience with business, finance & accounting processes and detailed knowledge of and experience with relevant IT applications is a must.The position demands an individual with leadership, problem solving, analytical and project management skills.
You need to have in-depth knowledge of business processes and the principles and practices for planning, managing, documenting and implementing functional process reviews.
Besides that, you need to have a "big picture" approach with the ability to drill down to fine details. And the ability to understand, synthesize and organize complex technical information into simpler language would be helpful as well.You must be willing to travel frequently (currently estimated at 30%).
