Project Engineer R&D - Embedded Software (1 FTE)

This is the role
As an Project Engineer R&D - Embedded Software you de¬velop (new) software for our Quality Control (QC) and In-line equipment and optimize existing software, both embedded and PC to maximize connection with market demand and make it technically profitable. This includes the entire software development process from initiation to aftercare. This process consists of writing software for the control of QC and In-line equipment and testing the software by identify and fixing errors in existing and new software, to improve the equipment’s functionality. In addition, you are responsible for customizing software based on change requests to ensure the operating quality of existing equipment. 

This position reports to the R&D QC & In-line Team Leader.

Project Engineer R&D - Embedded Software (1 FTE) Job Requirements

This is what you offer

• You have a Bachelor degree in Informatics and/or Electrical Engineering;
• We prefer three years of relevant work experience;
• Knowledge and experience with implementing software in C, C + + and C # is a must;
• Knowledge of ARM/CORTEX, PSOC, DSP, FPGA’s and Real Time Operating Systems;
• You have a solid understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers and protocols;
• You have natural skills in specifying electronics;
• You are a team player, disciplined, independent, and solution-focused.
• You are flexible, analytical, innovative, and stress resistant;
• Good writing and verbal communication skills is key
• Given the international nature of the organization knowledge of the Dutch and English language, verbal and written, is a must. Knowledge of the German language is as plus.
