The IT division supports information management, infrastructure and key business processes across ASML. The ICT infrastructure, hardware and applications are absolutely mission-critical for almost all ASML's internal and external activities.
A sub-department within the IT organization is the IT Competence Center IT Security. IT Security CC protects the IT landscape of all ASML and operates within ASML IT and contributes to the IT Mission: Working together to accelerate ASML in accomplishing its business goals, securely.


Job Description

As IT Security Architect you need to define IT security solutions, balancing required functionality, performance and cost, based on the defined ASML business risks. As Security Architect you are responsible for defining IT security requirements aligned with ASML's risk appetite. In close cooperation with the IT Enterprise Architect and Corporate Security, you drive the overall IT Security Architecture. As an expert you develop and deploy the IT Security framework, policies & guideline regarding IT infrastructure and applications. Besides this you ensure compliance with the current IT Security policy and standards.

Starting in this position means that you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Architect and design secure solutions in support of ASML's initiatives using industry best practices;
• Perform IT risk assessments;
• Monitor and report on security technology trends and requirements, such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities;
• Defining new solutions for IT Security and Cyber Security compliant with the Infrastructure Architecture;
• Assessing security aspects of changes of the architecture within other Competence Centre.

ASML - IT - Security Architect Job Requirements

Education

• Master of Science degree, preferable in MIS or related.
• CISSP certification is a must, TOGAF is a strong pre.

• 5+ years of experience as an IT security architect, preferable in both software and infrastructure development environments;
• 8+ years of experience in working in complex project environments;
• Experienced in environments with integration of multiple business applications;
• Extensive experience with architecture processes and enterprise architecture.

• Proven track record influencing without power, giving direction;
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills;
• Excellent communication skills and dealing with resistance;
• Having the ability to bridge business and technical challenges;
• Continuous drive for change and execution;
• Strong business sense
