Innovation Technologist Job Description

Are you the ultimate Explorer and Innovator?The Exploration & Development department is responsible fort the stakeholder management of key opinion leaders and knowledge institutes. Also the department analyses and models current production processes. The design and development of concepts in a pilot process is an important activity within this department. Close cooperation with other innovation departments is important in the development of new process technology and product concepts.Our customers Exploration & Development department develops new technologies and shows how these contribute to innovation at the organisation. These innovations are aimed at new processes, new products and new applications. Promising innovations are turned into a R&D project and are developed in cooperation with knowledge institutes and other stakeholders.As the ultimate explorer you're responsible for:

• Development of prototypes for predominantly starch based processes to BDM-stage
• Validation of and transfer to the relevant departments of prototypes
• Co-design the knowledge network and knowledge development according to company's strategy and policy
• Initiation of and contribution to multidiciplinary exploration projects

• Master's degree in Process and/or Chemical Technology of Engineering
• Relevant industry experience through a minimum of 5 years working experience or PhD thesis
• Experience with university and knowledge institute cooperation
• Strong international knowledge network in innovative technology research
• Experience in modern extraction technology concepts and conceptual process design
• Experience in particle technology, hydrocollids systems and/or starch related processes is an advantage
