You will implement authorization management processes during the onboarding process for business applications.
Job Description
As an engineer your main job is to develop and implement new features and applications for the RSA VIA Lifecycle and Governance portal and CyberArk. This happens in close cooperation with business analysts and includes for example drafting technical specifications, developing new features, creating instructions for Technical Application Management (TAM) to put the changes to the production environment.
The IAM engineer position is based on management and development of the ASML IT Identity and Access Management environment.80% of your job is analyzing, testing and configuration, 20% is 3rd line support.
Your core activities will be, but not limited to:
- Manage the ASML IT Identity and Access Management environment, based on VIA Lifecycle and Governance and CyberArk;
- Develop and implement new features and applications;
- Create runbooks for 2nd line support to transfer new solutions into production. 2nd line support is outsourced to a third party;
- Support activities like reporting and documentation;
- Provide 3rd line support on the IAM environment;
- Discuss improvements and new ideas with the business analysts.
You are the link between the business analysts and the Technical Application Managers.

The ICT infrastructure, hardware and applications are absolutely mission-critical for almost all ASML's internal and external activities.A sub-department within the IT organization is the IT Competence Center IT Security. Mission:
Working together to accelerate ASML in accomplishing its business goals, securely.The Engineer operates within the IT Application Security Team (10 fte) within the IT Security Competence Center.
ASML - IT – Identity & Access Management: (IAM) Engineer Job Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in an IT technical field or equivalent professional experience;
- Valid industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Microsoft certification (MCSE) are a plus.
Experience- At least 2 years professional experience with Identity & Access Management;
- Thorough experience with RSA Via LifeCycle and Governance, CyberArk;
- Experience with AD, Linux, SSO, SQL and NetIQ are a plus;
- Sound understanding of security technologies, best practices, and security policy frameworks;
- You are in possession of a valid work permit for The Netherlands.
Personal skills- Excellent English communication and presentation skills. Command of the Dutch language is a plus;
- Highly-motivated, with a strong work ethic and able to work effectively under minimal supervision;
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills;
- Team player able to self-organize
