About our Customer

Our customer is constructin a team of Planning engineers/Coordinators Installation & Commissioning (I&E) to work on a three year assignment on site in Doel (Belgium)

Because this site is a nuclear facility, safety regulations require that you have to be screened by the Belgian authorities and participate in a one month training for Belgian citizens and three months training for non-Belgian citizens, to be allowed to work on site.

Once you have been screened and successfully finished the training you will be officially registered and certified to work in all high risk classified Belgium facilities.

Job Description

As planning engineer/Coordinator Installation & Commissioning, you are responsible for the planning, preparation, follow-up and aftercare of maintenance projects.

In this role your main activities will be:
Work preparation:

• Technical & risk analysis of panned activities, estimating hours and creating a project planning.
• Prepare and assure timely availability of work permits, parts or external services.
• Prepare and conduct tool box meetings
• Administrating work progress.

• Monitor work progress and follow up on ongoing issues.
• Determine root cause of non-conformances during work and suggest solutions.

• Test, (re)qualify and commissioning of facilities.

• Close open actions/issues (e.g. close work permits).
• Complete project documents (e.g. writing reports, complete as-built documents)
• Assure closing and correct archiving of the project dossier

Planning Engineer/Coordinator Installation & Commissioning (I&C) Job Requirements

• You have a BSc Degree or equivalent In Mechanical- or Civil Engineering
• You have a at least 3 years’ experience in a similar position in the nuclear-, pharmaceutical- of food industry.
• You are familiar with current safety aspects and regulations in which you will be able to complete an assignment within on budget, time and conform the quality scope.
• You are fluent in Both Dutch and English.
• You are experienced in working with MS office
• You are willing to commit yourself for 3 years to  this assignment
