Aerospace Sales and Business Development Manager J16083 Job Description

We are looking for a professional business developer with a passion for sales within the Aerospace market, to acquire and build up a pipeline of new business opportunities in Germany and abroad, and to manage client account relations. The position will be based at our headquarters in Darmstadt/Germany. It is full-time and permanent. Foreseen starting date is September 2016.

Responsibilities/Duties:

The new Sales & Business Development Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• To help form a sales strategy with company objectives
• Successfully acquire and close business opportunities and achieve agreed annual sales order intake
• Proactive development of client base
• Client/Account management, Pipeline generation
• Communicate client requirements to our engineering teams
• Support the definition of aerospace solutions technically and commercially
• Assist in the preparation of tenders/proposals in a timely manner
• Maintain after sales relationship ensuring clients are wholly satisfied with our products and services

Aerospace Sales and Business Development Manager J16083 Job Requirements

Qualifications/Experience:

• University degree in Engineering or similar. An MBA in addition is an asset.
• Strong network of contacts in the Space domain and good knowledge of space or space related technologies.
• At least 5 years of experience in Sales & Business Development
• Proven track record in acquisition of orders with new clients

• Excellent international communication skills
• Strong networking skills
• Fluency in English, both oral and written

• Good grasp of business German
• Good understanding of financial budgets and strategies
