Business Development Manager water supply and wastewater Iran Job Description

ILF Consulting Engineers is presently expanding its business activities in the Islamic Republic of Iran. For our office in
Tehran we are looking for an experienced business development engineer who is interested in helping us grow our
business in the water supply and wastewater sector in Iran.

Your principal responsibilities:
■    Identifying and developing project opportunities in the water supply and wastewater sector in Iran
■    Providing continuous and pro-active liaison with relevant partners and clients
■    Closely coordinating business development activities with local ILF company as well as with ILF Group management
■    Evaluating and prioritizing viable opportunities and respective actions in close co-ordination with ILF Group    management
■    Following up projects from identification until contract signing
■    Providing support to the respective departments of the ILF Group for proposal preparation

Business Development Manager water supply and wastewater Iran Job Requirements

■    Degree in civil, process or mechanical engineering preferably with special focus on sanitary engineering; MBA is
of advantage
■    Minimum of 10 years‘ experience in the sanitary engineering sector either in an engineering position, in a project
management position or in a business development/sales position; preferably with an engineering company, or
with a construction company
■    Understanding of the Iranian water supply and wastewater treatment sector
■    Experience in business development and/or sales activities in this sector is of advantage
■    Understanding of clients’ project development and implementation methodologies as well as basic understanding
of project execution and contracting principles
■    Persian language – mother tongue is a must
■    English – excellent oral and written communication skills
■    Ability to establish and maintain close relationships with partners and clients
■    Strong team player with outstanding communication skills
■    Flexibility and willingness to travel within Iran
