With a focus on the semiconductor industry, medical field and laboratory equipment, most projects require a multidisciplinary approach. Optics, (opto-)mechanics, electronics, software and project management are the key competences at Hittech which allows us to develop high-end products for our customers. However, at Hittech we take the development much further! Together with a (strategic ) procurement department, a team of Technical Product Managers and highly skilled production personnel we take the development all the way to the end of technology chain! We are satisfied when we offer our customer his product, produced by us, in a reproducible, reliable and cost-effective way. Hittech Multin is part of de Hittech Group BV.
The challenge
At Hittech projects can start at any Technology Readiness Level (TRL 1 - 9). Sometimes we begin with just a solution to a problem described on the back of an envelope. Sometimes a prototype or proof-of-concept from a customer is our starting point. On some occasions our customers turn to us with a fully developed product in desperate need of added functionality or a significant cost reduction. Either way, all developments at Hittech share one common goal: in-house production!

As an Optical Engineer/Designer you will become an important member of multiple multi-disciplinary product developments. We will not only take your creative ideas seriously, but together we will implement your ideas and your solutions in the high-end products of our customers and turn them into reality!
Appropriate working conditions and extras such as 40 leave days a year.
What we ask of you
You are a professional with a background in optical design using OpticStudio (Zemax) and have hands-on experience in aligning optical assemblies, building/designing qualification setups and can translate requirements into a design. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills and are able to work in a multidisciplinary team of engineers. Experience and/or affinity with optical and mechanical production techniques is highly valued.
