This is the Role
Within our Strategy, Insight & Analytics group, the primary role of the Research Manager is to lead research projects, commissioned by P&L and Strategy Teams, that provide the data and insight needed for both tactical/ short term and strategic decision making. Additionally, you will help the P&L and Strategy Teams create and maintain as comprehensive, accessible, and up to date Fact Bases as possible. Job responsibilities will include: designing and launching research projects, ensuring that each research project is properly focused and structured, i.e. that the right questions are asked in the right way, leading the effort to gather the data, leading the effort to create clear, complete, and insightful reports and leading/ supporting the effort to integrate the research into Business’ decision making process.
 
This position will preferably be in our EMEA shared services center in Capelle aan den IJssel, Netherlands.

Research Manager Job Requirements

We are looking for someone with the capacity for assimilating and comprehending information and market trends to determine the "big picture". You demonstrate strong strategic thinking and analytical capability and the ability to work in a complex and diversified enterprise. A true networker who masters the art of influencing project teams without having direct authority over them. Some of the key desired behaviors are; self-starter, results oriented, communication, collaborative and customer focus.
 
This is what you bring
A focus on delivering quality work is key as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are looking for candidates with experience in developing business and/or product strategies within a B2B environment. Finally, you hold a Master degree from an accredited university in Business, Marketing or related and the ability to work independently and within a team. Consumer research exposure would be a plus.
