Main objectives of the job
To undertake customer implementation project configurations and customisations on the Information Management suite of products. The work will include standard and custom implementations involving scope definition, system installation including end user training, configuration and customisation work. Assignments vary from small technical assignments to large projects, alone or within a small managed team environment.
Information Manager / Application Engineer Job Requirements
Skills required
- The right candidate should have knowledge and experience of working with information management products, and should also have strong IT skills with a good knowledge of database modelling, schema definition and data mapping; some knowledge of VB.Net programming would be advantageous.
- The candidate must also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in English (Dutch and French is recommended), with the confidence to present at internal and customer project meetings.
- Also the successful candidate must have the ability to complete defined work assignments on time and to defined standards and quality, working equally well as part of the team or alone.
- The successful candidate will be given training on the specific Information Management applications.
Qualifications - Degree in Computer Science or equivalent higher level education qualifications is expected.
- Proficiency or training certificates in relevant software applications and technologies is desirable.
- The staff grading and re-numeration will be subject to actual skills and experience.
