Job description
In this role you develop and realize the technical designs of luxury yachts. As a Naval Architect, you are responsible for the drafting of all internal drawings and calculations and all other common activities in the preparatory phase of the yacht building. In addition, you support the organization in the area of technical advice. The tasks include designing and optimizing hull shapes (lines plans) and accessories. Also, you are responsible for weight calculations, agility and sea behavior, resistance and propulsion and tonnage calculations.
 

Naval Architect Job Requirements

HBO-Shipbuilding Engineering or equivalent
Experience in the luxury yachts building
Experience with calculating designs
Knowledge of regulations, rules and procedures
Mastery of the English and Dutch language in both word and writing
Mastery of simulation and visualization software as Rhino, Ansys, Shipconstructor
Working together in a multidisciplinary team
