Project Engineer Job Description

Tebodin in Dubai provides engineering and consultancy services for the Industrial, Infrastructural and Oil & Gas sectors. We provide services for projects which involve activities such as feasibility studies, concept design, basic engineering, detailed engineering, OHSE Consultancy and construction management to many International Clients as well as local Oil and Gas companies. At present, Tebodin Dubai is looking for a Project Engineer in order to work on existing and upcoming projects for Dubai office.
The Project Engineer reports to Project Manager / Engineering Manager  

Main tasks

• In larger multidisciplinary projects the DM P&C appoints a PE, in consultation with the OD. The PE is responsible for the engineering and the design and the harmonization and co-ordination of the various disciplines:
• Oversight of the Lead Discipline Engineers;
• the optimum co-ordination of the engineering activities of the disciplines involved in the project;
• Initiating and attending co-ordination meetings between the client’s discipline engineers as well as Tebodin’s;
• organizing design reviews;
• maintaining and following up action lists with among other things those matters which could potentially create delay to the project execution;
• the co-ordination and solving of questions coming from the construction site. 
  
  The PE replaces the PM in his absence.

Project Engineer Job Requirements

Candidate profile

• Engineering degree / diploma with relevant experience in Engineering firm
• Minimum 5 years working experience within a leading engineering firm
• Proven track record of working on multidisciplinary projects
• Experience in the Oil & Gas sector and added advantage
• Good communication skills in written and verbal English
• Will ideally exhibit; Decisiveness; Organizational loyalty; Leadership; Teamwork; Initiative; Judgement
