For our Product Development in our location Hanover we are looking for a motivated
Project Quality Engineer (m/f)

Tasks

In this position you constantly challenge the organization to achieve prioritization of Quality at all stages of the program. You are responsible for quality improvement of product development by focusing on compliance to cross functional Common Development Process and customer requirements. Ensures quality of product and process during product development through:

Set and follow up of quality and reliability objectives
Ensure the project successfully passes the phases with proper maturity level and on time
Facilitating risk assessments along with program manager
Validation of corrective action plans and follow-up of high level risks
Use of lessons learnt (technical and managerial) from previous projects & products
Deploying of Six Sigma tools and techniques
Ensure proper quality level of deliverables from other project members
Build up strong customer relationship and collaborative work during development
Ensure Lessons Learned Integration in new program
Tracking of Requirements management

Project Quality Engineer (m/f) Job Requirements

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Relevant experience either in a manufacturing environment or in product development with focus on industrialization
Experience with the development of automotive systems (APQP)
Technical background to enable understanding of past problems and guarantee no recurrence
Six Sigma skills to promote solutions to technical problems within project teams on time
Good customer interfacing, communication and presentation skills to ensure communication across functions and customer satisfaction
English language skills
High levels of perseverance and ability to stand alone

In this role you will closely interact with other project team members in order to ensure cooperation, collaboration and integration within development teams. You will guarantee the deepness of risk analysis coming from project teams and will validate corrective actions. You will also interact with national and international truck and bus manufactures.
