Job description
As a Production Technologist, you will identify and list current and future production technology needs of Wintershall Noordzee, and explore and develop a full range of potential production technology solutions to meet the identified needs.
 
With your relevant experience you will maintain an overview of industry experience and developments including peer operator activities, contractor developments and research results.
In addition, you will be expected to implement an effective selection and screening process involving all relevant parties and taking operational constraints into account, including HSE.
 
The role furthermore involves the preparation of production technology project proposals including budget, timing and resources estimates, contractor selection and obtaining internal approvals.
Your overall responsibility will be to ensure effective project execution and contractor management.

Production Technologist Job Requirements

You have
• an MSc degree in Petroleum Engineering, Physics or a related discipline;
• a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with an operator;
• good knowledge of petroleum engineering, production technology and oil field chemistry, as well as basic knowledge of reservoir production engineering and surface facilities engineering;
• excellent interpersonal skills and good verbal presentation skills are important, as is a good command of both written and spoken English.
