As a Piping Stress Engineer you are responsible for delivering the piping materials engineering work scope of a project within time and budget. You report to the Lead (Project) Engineer on progress, set backs, concerns and design improvements, you signal technical risks and anomalies in projects to the Process & Piping Section Head. If necessary you are requested to perform activities abroad, on site or with our clients.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Over 3 years of relevant experience in piping stress engineering.English good, verbally as well as in writing.
• Computer literacy for relevant piping stress analysis programs, discipline calculations, document processing, spreadsheets and data management.
• Affinity with technical matters and in-depth analysis of technical problems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of principals of piping flexibility and stress calculations of piping, nozzles, flanges, etc.
• Knowledge of piping materials and relevant codes and standards.
