For our office in Munich, Germany we are looking for a
Web Developer (f/m)
The Web Developer is responsible for delivering a high level of software quality within the Teradata Application Web Development Team. The Web Developer is also responsible to ensure projects are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Demonstrate the ability to ensure a quality product under aggressive delivery schedules. Bring own ideas and experience and help in improvement processes inside the team.
Profile:
- Development and maintenance of web-based user interfaces for our product DMC (Digital Messaging Center)
- Involvement in the implementation of large online campaigns for our customers
- Optimization of HTML email templates and web pages for different browsers
- Optimization of HTML email templates and web pages for mobile devices
- Develop and maintain in depth knowledge of the GUI products, becoming an expert in at least one functional area of the product
- Ensure traceability is maintained at all stages of the development process
- Execute Unit Test Cases to verify functionality works as defined in the GUI Brief documents
- Record clear, detailed information about project progress in the issue tracking system
- Report on project status and results
- Assist manager with defining/improving the process and code
Web Developer (f/m) Job Requirements
Required skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience of programming templates for different marketing channels
- Sound knowledge of / experience with the responsive and adaptive HTML/CSS design for mobile devices
- Experienced knowledge of web technologies (XHTML, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript — JQuery) and skilled in dealing with MS Windows and Photoshop
- Experience in HTML programming with JavaScript and CSS
- Experience in dealing with Jsp, Tag-Libraries and XML
- A good understanding of optimal user guidance on websites and interfaces as well as skills in graphic design
- Knowledge about the compatibility of common browsers and their optimal utilization
- Ability to think abstract — to ensure ability to not conform to the norm
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- Ability to work well both independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative and good judgment

- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong time management skills and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with distributed application problems and issues in web-based environments
- Ability to represent the company in a positive and professional manner
- Very good English knowledge
