Your position 
As a Consultant Asset Management you will be part of the Service Consultancy team within the business unit Global Services. You are involved with advising our clients in the field of asset management as well as with the standardisation and professionalization of our internal processes. As a consultant you help to drive new initiatives in uncharted territory at both clients of Vanderlande and internal stakeholders. These initiatives are often strategically positioned, so you align with directors and board members of both Vanderlande and the client, creating and delivering added value for our clients. A Consultant Asset Management has a high impact and a combination of independency and entrepreneurship, these are requirements for doing the job right.  Tasks and responsibilities:
As a Consultant Asset management you contribute to a comprehensive approach for the management of all physical assets within the client organization. In order to support effective control on the performance, risks and costs of these assets throughout their life cycle, you are responsible for the following tasks:

• Evaluation of existing as well as new implemented systems and procedures in the field of Asset management, recommendations and solutions for improvement; 
• Advice asked on matters regarding Asset management issues as for example productivity, materials management, transportation of goods, packaging, order processing and quality control;
• Development of new concepts that best fit the needs of the client; 
• Active maintaining of relationships with stakeholders in order to identify current and future needs;
• Contributing to knowledge development, sharing of ‘best practices’; 
• Close following of developments in the Asset Management field, translation of new insights to the service strategy and service propositions.

• Creating a central service strategy;
• Developing aligned service propositions that identify and answer (current as well as  future customers needs;
• Uniforming and standardizing the service offering and service delivery;
• Developing service tools;
• Improving the support and maintenance of the Vanderlande products;
• Providing guidance and verification of service solutions during tender processes, in order to scale up our life cycle services offering to our customers while maintaining consistency and quality in delivery.

Consultant Asset Management Job Requirements

Your profile

• Master degree and a strong interest in Industrial Automation;
• You are an expert in the field of Asset Management; 
• You have relevant working experience (at least 6 years) as a consultant in an international and technical environment;
• Comprehensive understanding of Service Business;
• You have a continuous improvement focus and attitude; 
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills; 
• Good command of English;
• Willing to travel internationally up to 50%.
