We can offer you a position as Project Leader within Powertrain Control Systems organization

Powertrain Control Systems works with development and design of electronic control systems for Volvo’s heavy and medium duty diesel engines and transmissions. Our main customers are the different brands within Volvo group.

Our responsibility within Integration group is to develop embedded control systems for driveline management which includes engines, transmission and exhaust after treatment. This includes development of electronics and software for the following customers: Renault Trucks, Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses, Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Penta, and Asian Trucks. It is a rapidly growing area within Product Development.
 
As expert in Project management, you: 

• Initiate, execute and close the Control Systems projects according to the Volvo development processes
• Lead a Cross functional team.
• Break-down project needs in order to define Control Systems solutions
• Drive project dashboard to meet Quality, Timeplan, Cost, Features targets
• Report project status within Volvo Powertrain and towards partners and customers as well.

Profile

Engineer in Electronics or Mechatronics, we believe you have following skills: 

• 8 years’ experience in engineering automotive field and 3 years’ experience of Project management
• Solid embedded software or system verification or calibration background
• Excellent Leadership
• Open-minded and pro-active
• Strong verbal and written communication in English
• Be Customer oriented
