Within the Research Team of Marel Stork Poultry Processing we have a wide variety of disciplines and specialists with degrees in physics, poultry science, biology, food technology and meat science.
We are currently recruiting experienced researchers who would like to participate in the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship program.
Within the research team in Boxmeer you will be responsible for your own research project relating to poultry processing equipment and associated processes, in close cooperation with our specialists. You will primarily be active in the area of generating basic technological knowledge as input for development projects. You will be tasked with initiating, implementing, supporting, reporting on and analyzing in-depth research, which is often multidisciplinary in nature and is subject to intense collaboration, both inside and outside the organization, involving worldwide cooperation with scientific institutes, universities, partners and leading processors of poultry. .
Together we define your research project for the Individual Fellowship Program, which will run for 12-24 months. The topic is based on both your ambitions and input and the scope of our activities in areas such as poultry/meat science, microbiology, heat and mass transfer and animal welfare. After defining the topic, you’ll write the proposal. If necessary, we can support you on this. We need to hand over this proposal before September 11, 2014.
The actual start of the program shall be after May 2015. Depending on your personal situation, we may consider an earlier start date.
