Account Managers (One based in the Netherlands, other in UK) Job Description
The Company:
Echologics, a world leader in leak detection and condition assessment of water mains and now through recent expansion is looking to offer a fantastic opportunity for two experienced Account Managers, one based in the Netherlands to build our customer base here in Western Europe, and the other based in the United Kingdom and Ireland to build our customer base in the UK.
The Role:
Within the role of the Netherlands Account Manager your primary focus is to sell Echologics services and technology to strategic target accounts in Western Europe, primarily within The Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
Within the role of the UK Account Manager your primary focus is to sell and build awareness of Echologics services and technology and to strategically target accounts across the UK and Ireland.
As an Account Manager, your responsibilities will also include:
- Meeting specified revenue targets
- Creating key account plans and executing strategy
- Secure long term client relationship at highest decision making levels
- Using the sales process to negotiate with clients such as city council, government politicians, media and citizen action groups
- Understanding of core Echologics products and services
- Deliver core message in a variety of customer engagements including sales calls, presentations and written correspondence
- Develop customer references by maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Cultivate relationships that can accelerate sales such as engineering firms, key customer references and industry consultants
- Secure and leverage relationships with organizations connected to the client such as city council, government politicians, media and citizen action groups
- Leverage account penetration already established by other Mueller divisions
- Maintain and update account information in sales database, Salesforce.com
- Provide accurate monthly forecasts
Account Managers (One based in the Netherlands, other in UK) Job Requirements
- Significant years of experience within an Account Manager role and working with top-tier technology companies
- Experience selling information solutions, such as enterprise software, asset management systems, or engineering services to large accounts
- Proven track record of exceeding established sales quotas
- Experience in selling to the government, municipal markets or public sector
- Required proficiency in Solution Selling methodology
- Required languages for the Netherlands Account Manager: fluency in Dutch, English and German (additional major European languages an asset)
- Knowledge of water systems, asset management, or pipeline condition assessment an asset
- Related engineering/science and/or business background/education
- You are highly motivated, pro-active, detail oriented, and possess strong communication skills with the ability to ensure the sales process is well orchestrated.
