Job Description
ASML’s business model and fast growth requires continuous improvement of its business processes and controls, people competencies and IT systems to realize operational excellence. All activities within Supply Chain Management have been defined as a set of business capabilities. For each of SCM’s capabilities a roadmap needs to be defined that enables ASML’s (future) business in an effective and efficient way. As a Sr Business Transition Manager it is your mission to create business capability roadmaps and managing its progress, realizing SCM’s 5 year ambition and associated benefits against agreed cost.
Together within internal and external stakeholders, both leaders in the sectors as well as experts, you are responsible for:

• Creating and maintaining a vision for the business capability, enabling ASML’s future business;
• Creating a description of the as-is and to-be end-to-end processes, often spanning several departments within SCM as well as other sectors;
• Defining and maintaining a capability roadmap showing the required capability steps with clear insight in contribution to SCM vision and 5 year ambitions as well as to the SCM KPI’s;
• Aligning the capability roadmap with cross-sector stakeholders;
• Translation of capability steps in the roadmap into SMART requirements and Solution design w.r.t. business processes, people, policies, controls and IT tooling;
• Creating project charters for each capability step;
• Monitoring progress and defining mitigation actions if business milestones will not be met.

Sr Business Transition Manager Job Requirements

Education
MSc degree

Experience

• 10+ yrs work experience, of which 5+ yrs experience in business process re-engineering, IT related projects and defining and improving people competencies;
• Proven experience in defining a 5 year vision on business capabilities, and translating this vision into projects, contributing to the vision and business KPI’s; 
• Proven analytical and conceptual skills combined with business sense; ability to deal with many uncertainties;
• Experienced leader in operations;
• Experienced business change manager.

• Lead in structure, prioritization, decisiveness;
• Natural leader, outgoing, easy to be approached;
• Strong communicator, while sensitive to stakeholder field;
• Remain persistent until the goal has been reached;
• Take responsibility for the decisions;
• Explain/ present matters to people with different skills and background;
• Demonstrate effective, constructive cooperation in cross-sector teams;
• Handle conflicts & set priorities, while aware of sub cultures;
• Show critical sense;
• Professional communication in English.
