Team Leader/Water Management Specialist Job Description

This is a Technical Assistance financed by ADB which purpose is mainly to assess performance / challenge of the water sectors in 3 countries of Central Asia (Uzbekistan, Kirghizstan, Tajikistan), to develop water sector strategies to find solutions to the identified challenges, and to identify investment priorities to implement the strategies (at river basin and irrigation system-levels) in each country. 

The project is anticipated to start in April 2012. The international position of "Team Leader/Water 
Management Specialist" is 8 months duration.       

The Team Leader/Water Management Specialist shall have a master degree or above in water resources, irrigation engineering or related subject and be fluent in English and preferably in Russian. 
He or she should have at least 20 years relevant working experience, including in Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, or other Central and West Asian countries, with 10 years and five projects as team leader. The TL/WMS should have various ADB experience.
