ROC Process Engineer (m/f) Job Description

Linde as a leading Company in the industrial gases industry is implementing a Remote Operations Centre. In this Remote Operations Centre in a first step all Air separation plants from Germany will be operated and in a second step further plants from other European countries will follow.

To strengthen our team in the Remote Operations Centre (ROC) in Leuna (ca. 30 km from Leipzig) we are looking for your support as

Process engineer or Chemical engineer (m/f)

Your task is the optimization of the Air separation units which are operated by the Remote Operations Centre Leuna:

• Identify best operations practice (BOP) opportunities and support its implementation keeping alignment with regional strategy
• You support the implementation of the Remote Operations Centre
• Implementation and support for the Alarm management system
• Provide support by the implementation of automation systems (APCS and LMPC) and their operations
• Serve as subject matter expert for process development and standards definition by interfacing with global teams (Engineering, Operation and Platform)

Besides the described measures you are also responsible for the operator training. A good understanding for the fundamental cost drivers of the industrial gas or process plant industry is essential. You should be able to carry out performance calculations with respective simulation tools. Very good IT skills in MS-Office, SAP and Lotus Notes are a prerequisite. Within the implementation of the improvements in our plants you’re also responsible for the costs, timing and quality.



 

ROC Process Engineer (m/f) Job Requirements

We are looking for an engineer with a degree in chemical engineering or process engineering. You should have high communication capability on all levels of the organization, negotiating skills, ability to work interdisciplinary and strong analytical skills. You should be able to work in a team and be willing to travel within Europe. A 2 - 4 years experience in process plant related operations or engineering would be an advantage, but we also give entrants a chance. You should be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
