As Verity Studios’ drones come to stages worldwide and production volumes rise, we are seeking to complement our productions team with a drone show choreography programmer. The successful candidate will interface with the client’s creative team and will be responsible for the programming of drone show choreographies. This position will require frequent travel to clients’ sites.
Responsibilities.
• Program drone motion and light choreographies for world best-known artists and the biggest live events
• Work with the client’s creative teams to bring drone show segments to life under tight deadlines, in the office and the event’s sites.
• Design, develop, and test new drone motion elements and lighting effects
• Contribute to the development of our drone choreography design tools
Qualifications.
• Solid programming ability (preferably C/C++)
• Initiative, independence, and creative thinking
• Understanding of the basic math behind the representation of shapes in 3D space
• Knowledge of 3D animation and visualization software such as Blender are a plus
• Experience in show programming (lighting, automation, etc.) or artistic background are a plus
• Excellent team and communication skills
• Good English skills, written and spoken
• Willingness to travel
