Introduction
Within the Customer Supply chain management (CSCM) organization of ASML we are looking for a Project/ Program Manager helping us driving the key improvement and automation projects within CSCM and supporting the setup of a Project Roadmap and Project portfolio mgmt. system. We are looking for an experienced professional, someone who can liaison with the CSCM business leaders, project managers, ASML IT staff, subject matter experts and other stakeholders involved using proven methods and helping us to reach a higher level of project and portfolio management maturity.
Job Mission
Within the CSCM organization, the Service management Excellence department is responsible for:
- the delivery of a project roadmap and associated project portfolio mgmt. systeml
- the delivery of all major Non-Product-related structural improvement projects (usually involving IT).
Supporting this mission, your mission will be
- Developing and implementing a project portfolio mgmt. system that will support the CSCM team in driving the right projects with the right prioritization. This will require a good understanding of the CSCM strategy, the running projects and how they tie together, as well as getting a handle on how requests for new projects can be channeled for implementation.
- Leading improvement & automation projects.
Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for:
- Setting up and driving a Project Portfolio Management system
- Build understanding of the existing strategy and running projects in CSCM and how they tie together.
- Be part of defining and identifying new projects and strategies
- Build a strategy implementation roadmap of project and initiatives serving as the CSCM development plan
- Design a project portfolio mgmt. system that will support the business stakeholders in setting priority with respect to projects both in the backlog as well as those that are underway to provide a simple but clear overview of the project status of all projects (backlog, running & completed) and the progress against the CSCM development plan
- Implement and drive the project portfolio management
- Leading improvement projects: Own 1 or more projects in the portfolio, and lead as project manager. (this includes but is not limited to: managing the team, status reporting, tracking of activities, removing roadblocks, meeting discipline, stakeholder management. etc)
The Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) team is responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs) with customers. System downtime costs customers up to a million USD per day so SLAs are extremely tight, with downtime waiting for parts and tools limited to as little as 20 minutes per system per week. CSCM manages such challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers true customer satisfaction through differentiated and affordable logistics services. ASML’s aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality means machines are often upgraded at the customer during their lifetime. CSCM’s highly educated workforce drives planning and execution of the logistics aspects of commercial upgrades, field change orders, machine shipments and transfers.
CSCM - Senior Project Leader Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor or Master degree in Business Engineering or another technical study.
Experience
- Project, Program and Portfolio management knowledge and experience (10+ years);
- Preferably with a technical and engineering or business focus;
- Track record of leading process improvement projects;
- Experience with LEAN and AGILE. Personal skills
- Very experienced in delivering, processes, and SAP solutions;
- Experience with SAP /APO PPDS and ECC are a strong pre;
- Experience with 3rd party logistics (3PL’s, including integration of IT systems) is also a desired.
Personal skills- Ability to influence without power;
- Excellent communications skills;
- Excellent stakeholder management skills at multiple organizational levels
- A ‘Pro-Active’ attitude;
- -nglish language skills (verbal and non-verbal).
