As a Maintenance Manager & Site Projects at LyondellBasell you are responsible for creating, executing and improving the maintenance strategy and all site related projects at our Catalloy and Polybutene-1 plant in Moerdijk, The Netherlands. Because the clear size (150 employees) of the facility you will deal with a great variety of technical disciplines, operational as well as tactical and strategical, from mechanical and electrical engineering to recurring inspections and turn around work preparation.
You won’t be alone; with a team of 30 specialists you’ve got a lot of intelligence available everyone having their own specialism and strengths. Your goal is to keep costs as low as possible by creating a common goal for your team and to encourage them to grow professionally and personally. You stimulate innovation and you are always open for ways to improve processes all in the right order of priority and in alignment with the overall local and global strategy. From that perspective and beyond maintenance only you will lead all improvement (new build and revision for example) projects at the site making sure value is added every day.
