BetongCentrum in Southern Sweden is a part of the Danish Technological Institute with leading specialists, including within the field of concrete. We are looking for someone who can independently develop our business area in Sweden within the condition assessment and damage analysis of concrete fields.
Condition assessment and sales – business development.
We believe that there is a huge untapped market potential that you will help to uncover in close collaboration with the Concrete Centre in Denmark. The centre is established in 2008 and many opportunities lie open. You will be given great freedom to develop BetongCentrum in Sweden and have an influence on your job content. There is currently a portfolio of clients who you will be working for, some of them in collaboration with Danish and Swedish colleagues. It is your responsibility to over time expand the portfolio in Sweden and uncover new opportunities for cooperation. In addition to you as technical manager, we are also looking for a Swedish consultant to conduct field investigations in Denmark and in Sweden. You will work closely together to solve the tasks and projects that you secure. Your daily work at BetongCentrum consists of condition assessments of concrete constructions, reporting the results, financial responsibility and project management, generating sales, marketing and establishing network among clients from the public and private sectors. There will be opportunities for greater responsibility as the business area increases. In addition to concrete constructions, there will also be focus on projects within the field of swimming pool technology. The Danish Technological Institute has experts at their disposal, who you will also be working together with. You will report to team manager Henrik Erndahl Sørensen in the Danish Concrete Centre. Your place of work will be Malmø, or another location in Southern Sweden by agreement, but you will also have an office space at the Danish Technological Institute in Taastrup.

You have a relevant degree, such as engineering. You have knowledge and are a technical specialist in concrete and have a practical approach to problem solving. You are very experienced in condition assessments and consultant tasks. As a person, you are innovative and independent, at the same time as you are open to dialogue and cooperation. As the centre still is in development, it is essential that you are motivated by, and have the ability to independently develop business and create new contacts. You have a good eye for opportunities and uncovered needs - both in relation to the individual customer and the area of business as a whole. You are also goal oriented and take pride in seeing tasks and projects through to the end.
