Post Sales Consultant Job Description

Position:          Post Sales Consultant
Location:        Dusseldorf, Germany
Salary:            €60,000 to €80,000    
 
We are seeking a Senior Post Sales Consultant to provide customers with your excellent post-sales consultative services, delivering the implementation and configuration of software solutions to customers.
 
As Post Sales Consultant you will be responsible for:
 
Installing, implementing and configuring the Software Solutions at Customer Sites
Liaison with the development team on how to improve products, what customers require and general communication of customer feedback on issues and features
Working with the Sales and Account Management Teams to manage the implementation and customer expectations
Take ownership of knowing what the customer requires technically
Become the technical expert in the Company’s Software Solutions
Extensive DACH travel will be required in this role
 
Ideal Profile
 
You will possess solid experience on consulting in SAP or similar ERP, installations and training
You will be able to demonstrate technical expertise in the area of Job Scheduling/ Systems Management software
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and have the desire to do your best in understanding and delivering business solutions
Experience with PL/SQL and SQL, Java and Javascript
Experience in UNIX, NT operating systems and Linux and MS technology
Relational database experience: Oracle, MS SQL Server, MAX DB
Network knowledge, Firewalls, Routing etc.
Experience with Webservers e.g. Tomcat, Netweaver JAVA Stack, JBoss etc.
Working with ERP such as, FiCo.
Good analytical and problem solving skills, BW or ISU would be excellent
Exposure to HTML and Web Server Technology such as IIS and Apache
You must fluent in both English and German
