Your Job
As Environmental, Health, Safety and Regulatory Compliance Manager you ensure that the organization comply with the applicable regulations as a minimum and then make the organization operate responsibly and professionally in terms of EHS&R. You train and raise staff awareness around EHS&R and risk prevention. You define preventive and corrective measures.  You achieve this by fully developing the following result areas:
 
Environment:
you are responsible for the realisation and follow-up of the plants environmental program.  You monitor inspections and permits and are always up-to-date on legal reports and legislation (regional, federal, European and global).  You take the lead in the continuous improvement on environment and implement best practices.

Health & Safety:  
you fulfil all legal obligations concerning health & safety on the spot and machine & workplace safety to ensure that employees can work in a safe manner. You install a health and safety culture and embed knowledge in our quality management system (Vario).

Regulatory:
you have regulatory accountability and are the thought leader/expert in regulatory affairs internally and externally.  You develop, own and enable the REACH compliance process and secure all necessary registrations.

EHS & Regulatory Compliance Manager Job Requirements

Your Profile

• You have a Master's degree in engineering, biotechnology, chemistry or related discipline. Ideally, you have a masters degree in environmental management (milieucoördinator A) and a degree prevention/safety advisor level 2 (preventieadviseur niveau 2).
• You have 10 years of experience in a production environment – you understand how departments work together – you are able  to create support across the company, with different target groups –  you are enthusiastic and have a strong affinity with REH&S and chemistry. You have the power of persuasion and can win others over to your ideas.
• You are responsible and result driven and you can work autonomous and pragmatic.  You have a hands-on mentality and approach.
• You feel the impact and consequences of your own decisions, behaviors, choices and/or activities on other parts of the organization and act accordingly.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
