Your job as Senior Software Engineer

As Senior Software Engineer you will be working on state-of-the-art projects covering the entire process; ranging from the definition of requirements to delivery.  You are part of one of our scrum teams and responsible for design of a (sub)system, module or component and the implementation and verification of the chosen solution.

A Senior Software Engineer at TOPIC acts as a sparring partner and advisor for customers and stakeholders with regard to software design, implementation and verification. You are able to share your ideas and suggestions which allows you to help move the project forward in the right direction. Programming languages and technologies that are often used in our Projects are C++, C, Python, C#, QT , Docker, AWS, GIT, Jenkins, RTOS, TDD and BDD.

Our projects are highly complex, often multidisciplinary and range from edge to cloud and from driver to application. In consultation we will discuss what project is most suitable and matches your wishes and ambition. We will support you in shaping your future and let you take on more responsibilities as you grow in seniority. Our projects are carried out at our inspiring office in Best (NL) or on-site at the customer. It is possible to work partially from home.

Senior Software Engineer (C++, Python, C, C#) Job Requirements

As a Senior Software Engineer at TOPIC
 

• You have an University or Bachelor's degree in (applied) Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Physics, Mathematics or similar field;

• You have 4+ years’ experience in O.O. programming and excellent knowledge and command of at least 2 of the following programming languages; C++, Python, C and or C#.

• You are familiar with methodologies and techniques as UML, Design Patterns, Agile, Unit testing and TDD;

• You have an excellent command of English (both oral and written); knowledge of the Dutch language would be a big plus;
• You live in the Netherlands (Eindhoven area) or are willing to relocate.

• A good and competitive gross salary;
• Net cost allowance; to be used for costs as washing your car, buying books etc.
• Mobility package; to be used for lease car/bike, subscription for bus or train, as a compensation for use of your own car or other travel expenses;
• Thirteenth month payment; guaranteed 1 month extra salary a year also possible to be paid out monthly;
• 8% holiday allowance.
