Electronics Engineer (m/f) Job Description

The department:

The Engineering Department is responsible for the Dairy Equipment (by) developing - among others - robotic milking systems, feeding systems and other products. The Department consists of a group of established practical engineers, a workshop and test Department who can build directly the developed concepts and test these in practice. As part of this team you get  responsibility to develop a number of new products that are, or should be developed on the basis of existing concepts. Because of strong growth of the Organization for the Engineering Department we are looking for a Dairy Equipment Electronics Engineer (m/f), 40 hours, location, Rotterdam.

The job:

You will be responsible for the (ongoing) development of electronic components for the control of machines and systems for the dairy farming business.

Major activities:

• Compiling technical and functional specifications;
• Taking stock of all possible technical resources that may be required in order to realise the project, making relevant choices as well as organising/procuring these resources;
• Project planning;
• Building prototypes that comply with the given specifications;
• Setting up and carrying out desk tests in consultation with the Senior Engineer Operating Software;
• Setting up, assessing and processing field test plans in consultation with the Test Engineer;
• Making up technical documentation for the Customer Support Department;
• Providing 3rd line support to the Customer Support Department;
• Setting up and maintaining the technical electronics file as well as project documentation;
• Describing new details (e.g. for release or patent purposes);
• Setting up procedures for incoming inspection of electronic components.

Electronics Engineer (m/f) Job Requirements

• A completed Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering plus some years of work experience;
• Good command of the English language;
• You have the ability to work on your own but you are also a good team player.
