fluid Operations™, (fluidOps), a young, innovative software company headquartered in Walldorf, Germany, provides an open platform which allows for the semantic integration of structured and unstructured data across business and IT stacks. This basis is leveraged to deliver our cutting-edge infrastructure and cloud monitoring, management and orchestration solution, the eCloudManager™ Product Suite, as well as the Information Workbench™, a cloud-based Linked Data and Big Data management platform. Together, the two products deliver the flexibility needed to optimize information management, data integration, self-service IT, IT operations, and IT service management. For our innovative semantic technology and In-Memory Database, which businesses can use to optimize and automate their IT operations, we were given the “Gartner Cool Vendor in the SAP Ecosystem” award in 2010.

To support our growing team we are looking for several software developers (junior/senior) with experience in the fields of semantic technologies and/or cloud management for our office in Walldorf/Baden, Germany.


Job Description

As a software developer, you will help us develop innovative information management solutions. You will be responsible for:

• the management and development of new enterprise applications,
• the development of software solutions for semantic data integration, search and visualization, and
• the application of semantic technologies for the management of Enterprise Clouds.

• Architecture, design and development of new concepts
• Definition and realization of new use cases

Our Expectations

• Minimum Education: a degree in Computer Science (or a related area).
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Good knowledge of at least one of the following areas:
•         Enterprise Architectures
•         Cloud Technologies
•         Data Center Management
•         Semantic Web-Technologies
•         Semantic Web Standards (RDF, OWL, SPARQL)
• Solid knowledge of Design Patterns, Service-Oriented Architectures, Web Services etc.
• Experience with Web development (JSP, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX).
• Accept a high level of responsibility in driving new developments.
• High energy, clear goal orientation and strong work ethic; “can do” attitude.
• Good English skills both spoken and written.
