What you can expect:
As Manager Biometrics and Statistics you will be part of an enthusiastic team of experts providing statistical support to our research activities in crop-protection. In detail, your tasks will range from the modeling and analysis of experimental data to the development of bio-statistical procedures for our IT- applications. Given your expertise you will advise and train our research chemists, biologists and agronomists in the design and analysis of greenhouse and field trials around the world. You will provide guidance for your customers regarding data collection and processing. Moreover, you will assist in the developing of databases and software to allow individual scientists to generate their own analyses where appropriate.

During your PhD in natural sciences with a focus on biometrics or your degree in applied statistics you have gained experience in modeling biological or agricultural data. In addition, you have a solid knowledge of experimental design and the application of linear models in these fields. You are fluent in programming in R and/or SAS. Excellent oral and written communication skills in both German and English are your means to convey your expertise in the statistical consulting of our customers. In addition to your professional skills your distinct entrepreneurial and team spirit is persuading.
