Design Engineer Hydraulics Job Description

For our client, a manufacturer of capital goods in the automotive industry in the region Arnhem-Nijmegen, we are looking for a specialist hydraulic systems engineer with far reaching management and innovation skills. It is a function with a strong international aspect with much contact with overseas, suppliers and other stakeholders around the world. The hydraulics specialist is both internal and external adviser in the area of its specialization and the Direction of Development will give guidance on its field. He will also guide/manage other employees. Perhaps that could be a next step in your career. 
 

• As a hydraulics specialist with an innovative view, you are responsible for the design of the systems product line.
• Making mechanical calculations and designs and take into account international norms and standards.
• Determination of additional test and inspection requirements (with test engineers and inspectors).
• Solving problems with design and operation issues of the customer-specific options.
• Involvement in the entire process of design, test, assembly and aftercare.
• Managing Product Development projects, so that the planning is achieved.
• Directing and supporting artists, designers, developers, mechanical engineers, testers and partners.

Design Engineer Hydraulics Job Requirements

• Bachelor or Master in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics and electrical engineering and 3 to 5 years relevant eperience in the automotive.
• Knowledge of/experience with Pro-Engineer, CAD and MS Office tools.
• Good communication skills in the Dutch and English (spoken and written).
