Position:
• As a Specialist R&D Automotive Software Engineer you are responsible for the design of the control and diagnostic software systems in the range. This involves combining a clear vision with the development of system designs.
• Our client is looking for a designer who independently and inventively devises software solutions. It is also important to play an active role in a multidisciplinary team of customer problem solution.
• In addition, the Engineer fulfills an administrative role in providing the correct information, using the CORE / AGILE system.
• You are involved in the entire process from design, test, assembly and aftercare.
• You document carefully and strive for a complete and well functioning, reliable product. As a specialist you are (partly) responsible for monitoring the quality of the software used throughout the product range.
Tasks:
• The (co) development of a state-of-the-art vision on the systems.
• Designing and improving the software for system control and diagnosis.
• The development of the design supplies through the FRAT (functional requirements) process.
• Anticipation of software problems through the FMEA process.
• Making calculations in software communication.
• Support process engineers of the assembly lines for questions.
• Determine test inspection activities (with test engineers and inspectors)
Requirements:
• Bachelor or Master in Industrial Automation, Automotive Engineering with a specialization in software (knowledge of Electronics an advantage)
• 3 - 5 years experience
• Experience in software development in complex systems
• Knowledge of English (speaking and writing)
• Preferably experience in the transport/automotive industry
• Knowledge and experience in product development processes such as FRAT and FMEA

• Knowledge of Office packages (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) profile:
