Internship Offer: Software Engineer

Position context:
Hydraulics computation module integration in state of the Art acquisition system.

The project proposed takes place within the development of a new generation acquisition system for oilfield market. This system is currently in its first iteration that integrates different real time data sources on this platform. In 2012, we need to integrate work processes such as hydraulics computation. These modules are available as libraries and a framework need to be built to integrate them in the current release.

Mission:

In order to integrate work processes on current platform, the following tasks need to be realized:

1. Propose a software architecture for work processes integration
2. Design a relational database model for data structures needed for hydraulics computations
3. Implement a data access layer to access static and dynamic data needed
4. Integrate computation libraries
5. Validate against expected result on predefined datasets

The trainee will work with the project manager and “Interpretation” team in charge of work algorithm to realize these tasks.

Geographical location: Roissy en France (95)
Type of contract/duration: 6 months training with potential CDI
Compensation (if necessary): For Master Degree 1200€ / month during training. 50% transportation card reimbursed.
