OCI has a vacancy for a Nitrogen Fertilizers within Manufacturing: Plant Equipment Engineer EI/PB (M/V)

Contents of the function
The Plant Equipment Engineer acts as asset owner for his work area and monitors the technical status of the installations within Manufacturing Fertilizers.
He manages and monitors the permitted management framework regarding the hardware within the discipline in the factory.
He delivers an in-depth experiential knowledge and support derived from Manufacturing Fertilizers as well as Site and Manufacturing Services (Sitech), aimed to the conservation of the production installations and improving plant performance.

As Plant Equipment Engineer Fertilizers your are busy with:

• functioning as an intermediate within a wide range of activities and functions of diverse knowledge and training levels.
• directing multidisciplinary activities (including enabling and consult with the appropriate disciplines and expertise).
• enabling and consult with external specialists
• performing technical activities and create maintenance commands on the troubleshoot flat correction as well as determine preventive maintenance activities.
• the conduct of consultation with production officials about expectations or consequences of proposals and motivating choices inside it.
• the external representation of the Manufacturing organization.
• creating support to create actions/measures within the available resources.
• the set of quality requirements and determining conditions of implementation and negotiation in this.
• monitoring and continuous improvement of the technical integrity and availability of the installations in relation to the operating window and the performance of the plant and equipment intergrale (SHE, capacity and costs)
• In addition, the Plant Equipment Engineer is considered to, based on in-depth knowledge (and experience), to support the various work processes aimed at optimizing plant performance.
• The Plant Equipment Engineer is the connection link between daily operations and improve-cycle and contributes as equipment expert within the plant to the improvement and integrity and availability of the plant.
• Plant Equipment Engineer participates in various teams (daily operaTIONS TEAM, RISK ASSESSMENTS, hazop, CSA cyclic failure analysis), design and implementing verification team, as FMEA'S plant expert and as an expert on his field.
• Owner of small proposals, which via shortened route, but through management or change have to be performed.

Plant Equipment Engineer Job Requirements

You have:
- A rounded Bachelor degree in Process Control/Electronics/Instrumentation
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
- Professional knowledge and preferably experience in a similar type of process industry.
- Good command, both oral and written of the Dutch and the English language.
