For our client, who is a renowned ship builder, we are looking for:
 
Naval Architect(s)
 
Our client designs, builds, supplies and deploys technically advanced ships (and all related installations on board) for a several branches within the shipbuilding industry: Dredgers and Cutters, but also Navy ships and luxurious yachts.
 
Because of the multidisciplinary structure of this client, we are looking for multiple Naval Architects in a broad variety of technical disciplines.
 
The possibilities whit this client are very broad, the job description(s) are, amongst other requirements, as followed:
 

• Design, engineer and calculate a broad variety of ship components
• Prepare client cost estimates and technical proposals.
• Interface with clients, vendors and contractors.
• Peer review and conduct quality assurance activities.
• Participate in research and development programs.
• Comply with company quality, safety, environmental management systems and procedures to ensure all duties are executed in a safe manner minimizing harm to the environment.

Naval Architect(s) Job Requirements

The ideal candidate:
 

• …has a Bachelor or Master degree in Naval Architecture
• …is well aware of rules and regulations in the ship building industry
• …is eager to learn and willing to expand knowledge, but is also willing to share knowledge with colleagues
• …has excellent communication skills
• …is willing to travel (inter-)nationally
