Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f) Job Description

As the premium service provider in the fields of engineering, quality control & rework, we BUTSCH GmbH, support renowned companies from the automotive, mechanical engineering, aviation and space travel with our experienced project team members.

To strengthen our project teams at our customers we are looking for a: Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f).

We expect from you:

• Laser scanner Development (Scala)
• Design Lid B2 sample Scala, Design Housing scala B2 sample, with motor rotor design, PCB design for sensor carrier, Scala laser scanner
• CATIA V5 R19, MPLM, MS Excel
• 3D or 2D design construction of mechanical components of the Scala 1403 laser scanner Project-technical cooperation with PCB design and manufacturing
• Weight optimization of components with respect to the manufacturing process
• Creation of bidding documents
• Incorporation of the insights that have emerged from the consultation meetings with potential suppliers and manufacturing
• To be used Tools / Systems: PC based Catia V5 R19, MPLM, MS Exel
• To meet definition of interfaces window cover or housing to IP 69
• Incorporate PUR sealing for sealing cover housing
• Zus rotor design (holder, code wheel, screening between the emitter and detector, mirror) for B2, B1 pattern based on pattern
• Weight-optimized 3D design with respect to the manufacturing process (complete or milling for prototype casting and subsequent processing of individual faces)
• Imbalance analyse-based design and optimization
• Contribution or provision of the drafts for the production
• Creation 2D detail drawings for the various manufacturing steps (casting part, semi-finished or finished parts)
• Collision investigation, tolerance analysis
• Tuning and insertion port housing, Zus rotor, engine
