The Video and Imaging Engineering Design (VIED) group of our client develops complete camera and video subsystem IP consisting of a combination of a multi-core processing platform, imaging and video firmware, and control software. Our clients are operating out of multiple sites, with R&D teams working out of The Netherland, Finland, Serbia, Japan, USA and India.
About the Job
The Software Test Engineer contributes to the development and execution of the company's embedded camera software test environments.
As a Software Test Engineer, you participate in the implementation and executions of the company's test environment for the test of DSP kernels, camera firmware and camera driver. This software needs to be tested on several levels, ranging from MatLab specification, through ANSI-C implementations, until optimised DSP code running on company's devices, as well as driver code that interfaces to it. You will contribute in a team of test engineers that implement, maintain and execute a test environment for these software components.
About you
Candidate should Master degrees in Electrical or Software Engineering with excellent knowledge of C, C++ and good experience of UNIX and scripting languages. In addition, experience with embedded software testing and test methodologies is a plus.
